Dazzle in the Sky, Educate on the Ground!
The Fort St. John International Air Show Society was formed in 2009 with the goal of producing an engaging, effective, interactive and valuable Air Show. An Air Show is an event that is unique in Northern BC and has a large draw, which therefore presents an opportunity to showcase Fort St. John and the surrounding area.
The list of performers varies from show to show as the Board is committed to bringing a mix of old favorites and new performers to each show. There will always be something different to see on each day of the show as well as from show to show.
A successful air show has several different elements to it, with the most notable being a great show in the sky. But it takes more than that to engage a crowd. Interaction with the planes, with the performers, and with educational displays will create a memorable experience for all. The static displays tell a story and engage the audience, young and old.
This show is put together by a group of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to make the event
happen. It is their perseverance and the support of the community and sponsors that allow the Air Show
to continue to take place. The Fort St John International Air Show Society is committed to providing a quality, affordable, safe, family-friendly event that will benefit Fort St. John and the surrounding area.
